Moodigo collects minimal information to provide you with personalized planning features:

• Account Information: Email address for authentication (Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email/password)
• Task Data: Your tasks, time blocks, and completion history to provide planning features
• AI Chat Data: Conversations with our AI chatbot to improve task parsing and suggestions
• Gamification Data: Your plant growth progress, XP, level, and focus session history
• Calendar Integration: Calendar events you choose to import (optional)
• Usage Analytics: Anonymous app usage data to improve performance and features
• Device Information: Basic device info and app version for troubleshooting

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve Moodigo's features:

• Organize your tasks by time blocks (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Anytime)
• Power AI chatbot to understand and create tasks from natural language
• Track your plant's growth and XP based on task completions
• Provide focus session timers with soundscapes
• Sync calendar events with your tasks (when enabled)
• Display home screen widgets with your task data
• Send reminder notifications (when permitted)
• Improve our AI task parsing and recommendation algorithms

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We never sell your data. Moodigo may share limited information only with:

• Supabase: Secure cloud database for task storage and syncing
• OpenAI: Powers our AI chatbot (your conversations are not used for training)
• Apple/Google: For secure authentication via Sign-In services
• RevenueCat: Manages subscriptions securely (no payment info stored by us)

All third-party services are GDPR-compliant and protect your data with industry-standard security.

Calendar Integration

Calendar access is entirely optional. When you enable it:

• You choose which calendars to import events from
• Events appear alongside your tasks for easy planning
• We only read event data—we never modify your calendar
• You can disconnect anytime from Settings

AI Chatbot & Task Parsing

Our AI chatbot helps you create tasks naturally:

• Conversations are processed by OpenAI's GPT models
• Chat data is used only to generate tasks and suggestions
• Your conversations are not used to train AI models
• Chat history is stored securely and can be deleted anytime

Data Storage & Security

We implement strong security measures to protect your information:

• Encryption: All data transmitted is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure Cloud Storage: Data stored on Supabase with encryption at rest
• Local Storage: Tasks cached locally on your device for fast access
• Password Protection: Passwords hashed with bcrypt (never stored in plain text)
• Limited Access: Only essential team members can access data for support

Your Rights & Control

You have full control over your data:

• Access: View all your personal data anytime in Settings
• Export: Download all your data in JSON format
• Delete: Permanently delete your account and all associated data
• Opt-Out: Disable analytics, notifications, or calendar sync
• Correct: Update your information at any time

Subscriptions & Billing

For Moodigo Pro features (optional):

• 3-Day Free Trial: Try all premium features risk-free
• Payment Processing: Handled securely by Apple App Store or Google Play
• No Payment Info Stored: We never see or store your payment details
• Cancel Anytime: Manage subscriptions through App Store/Play Store

Children's Privacy

Moodigo is designed for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover such data, we will delete it immediately.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your residence (e.g., USA for cloud services). We ensure GDPR-compliant safeguards are in place to protect your data wherever it's processed.

Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary:

• Active Accounts: Data retained while you use Moodigo
• Deleted Accounts: All data permanently deleted within 30 days
• Backups: Backup copies deleted within 90 days

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. We'll notify you of significant changes via:

• In-app notification
• Email to your registered address
• Updated "Last updated" date at the top

Continued use of Moodigo after changes means you accept the updated policy.
